Netlocal started in 1999 and has grown steadily for almost ten years. Netlocal is a proprietary business owned by Peter K Macgeorge, MA. Netlocal is both an Internet Service Provider and a registrar of domain names for the Nominet.uk registry.
While providing a range of Internet services Netlocal also specialises in developing neighbourhood internets or, local webs for local people. Today neighbourhoods stretch from Merseyside to Powys, Shropshire and Cheshire.
Peter started in computing in 1976 and also owns Aprompt, a small hardware maintenance service. Aprompt provides all the technical support for Netlocals clients and offers a complete callout maintenance service within 30 miles radius of Chester UK.
